Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon celebrates Red Carpet Gala Thank You Dinner

Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon held a Red Carpet Gala Thank You Dinner at the Hotel’s Ngapali Pool Garden on the evening of the 20th March 2018 (Tuesday) to thank guests of honor from government organizations, diplomatic delegations, officials from UN and NGOs, corporate friends and customers, airlines, travel agencies, media and other travel-related and client businesses for their support on the hotel’s 20th anniversary.

The evening was opened with a welcome speech from Ms. May Myat Mon Win, General Manager of Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon.  “Thank you for joining our remarkable evening with us,” she said. “I am so happy to announce that Chatrium won a total of 9 awards in 2017 from different corporations around the world, including Leading Hotel Awards by World Travel Awards, Asia’s Top Business Hotel, etc.  We have also proudly hosted a stay for H.E. Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic India, and many more international delegations and royal families. We are also continuing our usual Corporate Social Responsibility activities on a regular basis. My big thank to our entire team of management and staff and once again, I would like to express our profound gratitude for your kind support of Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon and I look forward to the amazing and remarkable journey ahead with all of you.”

A Thank You speech followed from Mrs. Savitri Ramyarupa, Managing Director of Chatrium Hotels & Residences, expressing her appreciation for the joint efforts of all concerned. “Royal Lake Hotel Company Ltd. opened its doors and served its first customers 20 years ago today. Ever since then, the hotel has lived up to a remarkable legacy – (10) years as Hotel Nikko and another (10) years as Chatrium hotel. On behalf of the hotel, I thank all our customers and business associates for their long-term loyalty and support, and would also like to congratulate the hotel management team and all of the staff who have worked hard and maintained dedication to our status as the leading hotel in Myanmar. Chatrium Hotels & Residences is also expecting to open Chatrium Hotel Pratunam and Maitria Rama 9 in Bangkok by the end of year 2019. Here at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon, the Chatrium team strives to give the customers remarkable service as always.”

After the Thank You speech, Chatrium’s honored guest U Ohn Maung, Union Minister of the Ministry of Hotels & Tourism, conveyed his greetings in a speech. He said “I’m so proud to see Chatrium hotel has maintained its position as a leading hotel in the industry for 20 years. It also won The Leading FDI Award from the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016, along with multiple awards from other organizations around the world, which is not surprising given their remarkable service. I would like to invite the owners to explore other opportunities to expand your investments here into new industries as well.”

Participants enjoyed a gala dinner specially prepared by the Chefs of Chatrium while serenaded by The String National Orchestra and the Eulogia Music Center. The night was colorfully enhanced with special performances from Chatrium’s remarkable team, as guests mingled and the beautiful evening successfully came to an end.
