On December 10, 2014 Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon held a Christmas tree lighting event to mark the beginning of the joyous season. Also with the event, Chatrium proudly launches a new look for the Lobby Lounge & Sunset Terrace. The programs of event were as follows:

The evening started with lighting of the Christmas tree at the hotel lobby. Ms Daw May Myat Mon Win, General Manager gave an opening speech to welcome the joyous season with warm heartfelt thanks from Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon to diplomats, business partners, guests, media and associates. Introducing the new look of the Lobby Lounge followed the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Mary Chapmin School & Hotel Choir Group performed Christmas songs. The hotel made a donation to the Mary Chapmin School as well as provided Christmas gifts for the children.
Mr. Suphawuth Kanjanamahasub, Food & Beverage Manager introduced the new look of the Lobby Lounge & Sunset Terrace. The Lobby Lounge & Sunset Terrace uniquely combine indoor and outdoor venues for business and leisure guests. The outer design concept was created for relaxation with luxury chairs and decorative Teak wood tables on the lovely terrace. The lobby lounge & Sunset Terrace can accommodate up to 96 people. It is open daily from 7 AM to 12 PM midnight on the lobby level. Perfect for a quick drink, snacks or our delicious high tea, the Lobby Lounge and Sunset Terrace provide a warming and relaxing place to put your feet up. The Sunset Terrace makes for a remarkable venue for private dinner set-ups, with spectacular views of the Royal Lake Kandawgyi and surrounding green gardens that are simply breathtaking at sunset.
Lobby Lounge offers Christmas Goodies starting from today, the 10th of December, and The Emporia restaurant will organize Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinner on the 24th and 25th of December. Christmas Goodies at the new Lobby Lounge from 10th December 2014 onwards include:
Christmas Cake , Christmas Log Cake (Chocolate/Vanilla/ Coffee), Stolen Bread, Christmas Cookie (1 box 250 g), Christmas Fruit Cake (1lb), and Christmas House (*All orders must be placed one day ahead.)
Christmas Gala Dinner on the 24th & 25th of December, 2014 at US$ 40 nett per person at The Emporia Restaurant. Enjoy an international Buffet Dinner with roasted Turkey and many more festive dishes and complimentary glass of House Wine, Beer or Soft Drink.
