Bangkok, Thailand – June 2025 – Chatrium Hospitality, the operator of Chatrium and Maitria hotels, continues to deepen its sustainability efforts through a reinforced Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy. At the heart of this commitment lies its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, “Think First, Think Earth”, which guides the group’s long-term vision for responsible hospitality.
The initiative reflects Chatrium’s integrated approach to protecting the environment, supporting communities and delivering exceptional guest experiences across all its properties.
Technology Led Solutions for Responsible Luxury
Chatrium Hospitality has begun implementing its advanced Guest Room Management System (GRMS) at key properties such as Chatrium Grand Bangkok, with plans to roll out across all hotels in the group. This smart system features integrated HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) and lighting control technology, connected to in-room sensors that detect guest presence. The system automatically adjusts energy settings to maximise efficiency while maintaining exceptional guest comfort.
Select properties have also introduced intelligent Building Management Systems (BMS) that track and control utilities in real time. These innovations help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, support proactive maintenance and optimise energy use on a property-wide level.
